Before coming to Bridgeway, I was in an abusive relationship with
the father of my child. I knew I needed another option but
was only 16. My parents disapproved of my decision to
parent. I was lost, alone and scared. When I found
Bridgeway, I found hope. Almost a decade later I'm back to
help in anyway possible. The staff and Carole's dream is
reality and a lifesaver truly for each of us everyday.

I just wanted to let you guys know how grateful I am for all you have
done for me and Keil and all you continue to do for us. You’ve
given me support, comfort, friends, education, role models,
encouragement, answers and so much more. I have no idea where I’d
be without all your help and love. You have made Keil and my life
so much better.

Thank you for the crib that you gave me and the baby. You don’t
really know how much this means to me, being that I’m a 16 year old
mother. You don’t find too many people or organizations around like
yours anymore. I appreciate what you have done for me and my
daughter Niajear.

When you give to us you bring much more than diapers or clothes or money
or time. You tell us that what we are doing is worthwhile and you’re
behind us. You tell us “Keep going!” and we need that at times. Together, you & Bridgeway bring a brighter beginning to our beautiful
little miracles of life. A safe beginning. Together, you show
us that caring and love are what matters. Those are our goals ~ a
safe beginning and a legacy of love. Thanks for your part and
remember when you bring us things or money or time, you bring us so much
more.

My name is Cristi Larson. I lived at Bridgeway eight years ago when
I was given the choice to give my baby up for adoption or move out.
I was 16 when I got pregnant. Since then I have bought a house,
received my Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and am now in a management
position where I work. Bridgeway really helped me get on my feet
when I was so young, they gave me the tools and info I needed to start a
good life for my daughter and I.
