The teen mothers at Bridgeway are encouraged to continue their educations, and/ or to work either full or part-time, in an effort to improve their lives and the futures of their babies. Continuing education and ongoing employment are crucial aspects in becoming independent and self-sufficient. Each resident will meet weekly with her case manager to examine and assess both short and long term goals for school and work. She will learn how to write a resume, to submit applications for employment, in addition to formulating an ongoing education plan.
