Young moms may come to Bridgeway anytime during their pregnancies, and they will be given assistance with finding a doctor if they have not yet had medical care. They will be provided the opportunity to work with a visiting nurse, a birth coach, and encouraged to take labor and delivery classes, as well as infant parenting courses. Preparation for the birth of one’s baby is encouraged and supported, along with “tons” of understanding and soothing of normal apprehensions and uncertainties which can occur as the much anticipated time for delivery approaches.
