It’s fundraiser time at Bridgeway! We are very excited to announce "MARDI GRAS 2004", a Gala event to be held at The Denver West Sheraton at 6th Ave. and Union Blvd., in Lakewood. The date of this event is February 20, 2004 at 6:00 PM. We want to extend a warm thank you to all of you who supported Bridgeway’s Fundraisers in the past. With your help we were able to raise essential operating funds that guided Bridgeway into its seventeenth year of success! Bridgeway operates on a $270,000 annual budget, and two-thirds of that needs to be raised from the community.
Your support for this program through the years has helped over 400 young women and their babies. Your continued contribution allows us to assist these young women in completing their education, finding a job and making healthy lifestyle choices. We are able to help them be the very best they can be and to reach their full potential.
Previous Mardi Gras events have provided Bridgeway with the additional means to care for these young women and their children on a daily basis, including utilities, emergency services and a much needed air conditioning system. They also aided in the growth of our existing Child Development Center. This Center provides top quality daycare with a focus on early brain development and a low child-to-caregiver ratio for our high-risk babies.
We need your assistance to make 2004 our best year ever! Our focus this year will be to sustain Bridgeway’s efforts to make a difference in the lives of young pregnant women and their babies.
