What wonderful volunteers we are blessed with at Bridgeway! All through the several planning meetings for the Fundraiser, working to solicit items for the Silent and Live Auctions, meetings with the entertainers, MC’s, and people at the Sheraton, to say nothing of setting up everything on the date of the event, everyone kept their sense of humor, and their wonderful sense of why they were doing all of this work. There are way too many volunteers for me to mention all of them by name, but I want each of you to know that all of us at Bridgeway appreciate, more than you can imagine, all of your time and dedication to make this the extremely successful event it was. It was such fun to see so many of you again, and weren’t the Nacho Men a hoot?! If you missed it, be sure to plan to be there next year; it just keeps getting better! Thank you to all of you who support the young moms and babies of Bridgeway in so many ways. When I tell a new resident about all of the volunteers who care for her, she is amazed. It is hard to explain that people who don’t even know her, care for her and care that she is succeeding. Thank you for caring and for the time and energy and love you give to the moms and babies of Bridgeway.
Thank you, in advance, to the many volunteers that it takes to get this newsletter out. I appreciate all of you for your energy and talent and willingness to give a few hours of your time whenever I call.
We are looking forward to a beautiful spring and if you have time or have a group that would like to help with spring clean-up, please give me a call. We also always seem to need Bridgers (mentors), daycare helpers, and overnight substitute housemoms, among other volunteer opportunities filled, so please call me at the office (303-969-0515) if you are at a point in your life that you have time and a desire to be added to our volunteer crew.
