Summer is quickly approaching and already several of you have given your time and energy to beautify the yard, gardens and buildings of Bridgeway. Thank you so very much for caring about our residents in this manner.
We have been blessed to have volunteers through "Rebuilding Together - Metro Denver" together with Statewide Wholesale and The Colorado Roofing Association help with painting, landscaping, some yard work, kitchen floors, and new counter tops. In just a few days so much was done! What an awesome job-we are truly grateful!
Many thanks also to the many church groups who have labored in the yards and had baby showers and donated the collected items to Bridgeway. We even have one volunteer who allows us to pick items that we need at the house from a catalog each month and then she has them delivered to us within one week. As you can see, it takes many, many volunteers with many different abilities to keep the Bridgeway house in good shape.
Bridgeway’s Brilliant Beginnings Daycare has been bursting at the seams this Spring and Jaime, the Director of the Daycare, wishes to thank all of the volunteers who so willingly gave of their time and love to assist the staff in the daycare when she called them.
A current need for volunteers is a volunteer or two who might be available during the day, during the week for office support. This would include answering the phone and helping with crisis calls, as well as other miscellaneous office support. If you have a couple of hours a week that you might be able to spare in that area please call me.
Bridgeway’s next fundraiser needs you! As you will note elsewhere in this newsletter, we are excited about our next big fundraiser and would love for you to become involved in this fun event. There are several different opportunities available even now so please call the office if you would like to help in this area.
