When Judy and I first met to decide IF we were going to act as co-chairpersons for this year’s fundraiser, we naturally started talking about why we so strongly believed in Bridgeway. The babies! The young women! And to see how their lives turned around when someone believed in them.
We were also on the same page when it came to the Bridgeway organization. We talked about how rare it was to find a non-profit that was SO "penny pinching", low-key and all about the cause 24 hours a day! It was within 10 minutes that we were on board and ready to try and make a difference.
For these personal reasons, we are pleading with you to strongly consider attending our ONLY fundraiser of the year. We are very aware that you have many choices for your allocated donation dollars. We have tried to provide you with a fun evening at the SAME cost as last year. You don’t want to miss THE NACHO MEN; Molly Hughes, Anchorperson, KCNC-TV; Gary Corbett, Auctioneer Extraordinaire; Jo Myers and Murphy Huston, KOSI-FM 101.1 ~ our evening’s host; Mrs. Colorado, Sheri Engstrom; and the Linda Vista String Quartet PLUS a fabulous dinner AND Live Auction and Silent Auction.
