BRIDGER PROGRAM

Many of the the teens have been rejected by family, friends and the baby's father. A Bridger becomes a pregnant woman's:

  • friend / listener
  • role model
  • mentor
  • confidant
  • teacher

Our Goal is to have this develop into a lasting friendship, providing emotional support while the teen is at Bridgeway and for a year after she has left the program. A Bridger candidate must be willing to spend a minimum of 4-6 flexible hours each month with a resident.


 
OFFICE ASSISTANT

An opportunity to thoroughly experience the needs of the community by:

  • Answering Crisis Calls (when trained)

  • General Clerical
  • Receptionist
  • Word Processing (we'll train you)
  • Newsletter Mailing, etc.

Two hours per week on a regular basis is desired.

MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Girls must attend school and get additional training for career and life skills. 104 classes are repeated each year at each of the homes. use your imagination for creative new Jobs that allow a young mother to work at home.
